Year 9 Filmmaking
In Year 9 Filmmaking, students learn how to produce media to engage audiences. They use intent, structure, setting, characters and genre conventions to construct narratives, followed by the technical stills of storyboarding, live-action video and stop-motion photography, sound recording and video editing. They learn how technical and symbolic elements are manipulated to make representations and meaning. It is a great deal of fun, but also extremely challenging technically and creatively.
