Year 10
Architectural Design
Year 10 Architectural Design is a subject in which students can foster a deeper understanding, and refine skills, in the Environmental Design strain of Visual Communication and Design. Throughout this elective, students cover the elements and principles, as well as different styles of technical drawing, to create their own designs of spaces.

Found Object Models
Usually, our Year 10 Architecture students would have a multitude of model-making materials at their disposal for this task, however Remote Learning made this a challenge for us to overcome. Using kits that were sent home, as well as whatever materials they had available to them at home, the students created the fantastic models you see here. The concept was that each student would design a different floor of an apartment complex; whether that be a cafe, a grocery store, the lobby, or a residential apartment.
